A Special Parent Introduction to
The Joyful Child Foundation’s BRAVE Program
The Westminster School District’s Board of Trustees has approved implementation of the Be Brave – Be Safe Empowerment Program (BRAVE), created by The Joyful Child Foundation, in every elementary school. The goal of the BRAVE Program is to develop each student’s ability to reduce the risk of victimization by providing knowledge and skills about safety.
The BRAVE Program offers an opportunity to establish consistent language about child safety among educators, parents, and students, and provides a context for determining appropriate responses across the spectrum of high-risk behaviors.
Please attend this free parent presentation from The Joyful Child Foundation to learn important information about the BRAVE Program and strategies to help keep children safe. Join us for an inspiring and empowering discussion about how we can create a safer community for all of our children.
